Hello! I offer a calm, supportive space where clients can show up as they are, whether they’re navigating big life transitions or just feeling stuck and unsure why.
I work with teens, young adults entering college, new and expecting mothers, individuals navigating relationship concerns, stress, and life changes. I enjoy working with a wide range of clients and life problems. I believe that no concern is “too small” if it’s impacting your well-being. Sometimes therapy is about unpacking deeper patterns, and other times it’s about learning how to get through the week with a little more ease.
My background/education specialty is in the realm of children, youth, and family; however, I have plenty of experience working with clients across the lifespan and with a variety of diagnoses. While I do not currently see children under 14, I bring a developmental, family-systems lens into my work with adolescents and adults.
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and motivational interviewing. Sessions are flexible, yet serious when needed, light when appropriate. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and welcome using humor as a coping skill!
